These Echoing Walls

These cathedral walls created the perfect visual for this opulent inspired outfit. The print on the oversized coat gives an extremely poetic medieval feel. I immediately captured this essence by pairing it with this rusty green sweater, leather shorts and booties. When creating this visual, I also thought of that musician found in the corner of the street. He delights city wanderers with beautiful melodies of his guitar. The sound of his music is captured by echoing walls, creating near to perfect acoustics.
I simply love how these separate visuals come together as one.

Wearing his jumper

Every once in a while I love to pay a visit to the men's department at H&M. Forgive me if I'm crazy, but I am head over heels in love with their comfy collection of jumpers. Not to mention the colorful collection of chino pants. I also love to accessorize with a touch of masculinity sometimes, think about for example bow ties. Personally I like to experiment with a variety of structures in my wardrobe. What I enjoy about menswear is that the cuts are crisp and sharp, they automatically look more tailored.
Have fun when borrowing his clothes. Choose pieces that are colorful. In this case I chose a smiley jumper. This is a very sporty look, good for running errands or casual walks through the city. So comfortable and effortless; it has become one of my favorite outfits. It's the perfect wear and go!

Tell me, do you also borrow pieces from the opposite sex?

Tomatoes and Macaroons

The days of extreme low temperatures are soon to be over. Along with March comes an explosion of color and everybody smiling again in Dutchyland. The thing is, around this time of the year we all want to feel springful; the past days we have been blessed with sunshiny beautiful mornings. Yet, in reality we still have to wait at least a month. How to quench our thirst for the long awaited blooming days? Wear your brights! I opted for minimal pieces in Tomato red and Macaroon pink. Chunky blocks of color look fresh and bold together. A head-to-toe red-look must be styled delicately; pieces should be simple and cuts: clean. Want to go all the way? Involve your lips and nails too, seduce them with the sensuality of red. Most importantly choose a hue that will compliment your skin tone.

Last but not least: what's a bold look without a load of confidence to back it up? Be the lady in red when everybody else is wearing tan.
